Mechanic (Company Fleet)

As a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic , you’ll work independently to ensure our fleet is safe, compliant, and operating at peak performance. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of service and safety. Key Responsibilities: Schedule and assign daily maintenance tasks and repairs. Oversee fleet compliance with DOT and other regulatory standards. Manage inventory control, parts procurement, and vendor relationships. Coordinate external repairs and test vehicles for quality assurance. Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting for the maintenance department. Ensure department operations remain within budget and aligned with company goals. What You Bring: 3+ years of hands-on experience in truck, light, or heavy equipment maintenance (waste industry experience a plus). Strong knowledge of automobile systems. Solid understanding of safety regulations. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
