MECHANIC AND CDL DRIVER
RG TenneyNOW HIRING: MECHANIC AND CDL DRIVER CDL Class A Required | $30–$40 per Hour | Overtime Opportunities RG Tenney Electric is seeking an experienced, dependable Mechanic with a Class A CDL to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. This is a mechanic-first position. While transporting equipment to and from job sites is an important part of the role, our primary need is someone with strong mechanical experience who can independently perform maintenance, identify issues, and help keep our equipment operating safely and efficiently. Requirements -Minimum 2 years of hands-on mechanic experience working on trucks and/or heavy equipment -Valid Class A CDL -Experience performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs -Ability to organize, create, and maintain equipment maintenance schedules and task lists -Knowledge of and ability to comply with DOT regulations -Must live locally. -Welding experience preferred but not required Primary Responsibilities -Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment, including oil changes, brakes, trailer lighting, and other mechanical components -Diagnose mechanical issues and address equipment maintenance needs -Safely transport equipment to and from job sites as needed -Collaborate with shop employees with organization, equipment inventory, and general shop and yard operations Compensation & Additional Information -$30–$40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications -Overtime opportunities available -Tools can be provided, or candidates may use their own We are looking for a skilled mechanic who also holds a CDL, not simply a CDL driver who can perform basic maintenance.
