Materials Management Tech
Cass HealthFull-Time | Materials Management What You'll Do As a Materials Management Tech, you will help ensure departments throughout the health system have the supplies and resources they need to provide exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, distributing, and tracking inventory while maintaining an organized and efficient storeroom environment. In this role, you will: Receive, stock, and distribute supplies according to established processes and departmental par levels. Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition, reporting damaged items or discrepancies to the appropriate staff. Compare packing slips to purchase orders and assist with resolving delivery issues. Remove excess packaging materials when possible to reduce waste and maintain a clean work environment. Answer incoming calls and provide courteous assistance to vendors, customers, and staff. Deliver supplies, mail, and interoffice communications to departments throughout the health system. Accurately record supplies issued from inventory and maintain inventory tracking systems. Participate in monthly inventory audits and annual physical inventory counts. Maintain a clean, organized storeroom by removing empty boxes and keeping storage areas orderly. Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock or non-stock item requests to the Buyer or Materials Management Director. Keep leadership informed of supply concerns, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues. Maintain copier paper supplies and assist departments with printing, laminating, and binding materials as requested. Perform general clerical duties and assist with special projects or committee work as assigned. Perform all other duties as assigned.
