Vitesse Systems is looking for a Materials & Inventory Coordinator to join the team in Harbor City, California! The Materials & Inventory Coordinator supports material planning, inventory control, receiving, tracking, and coordination of materials to ensure the timely availability of components and supplies needed for production and operations. What You’ll Do (Essential Job Functions): Responsible for inventory accuracy, material availability, and kitting operations, ensuring all components are available, tracked, and staged correctly to support production. Inventory Control Daily managing WIP inventory transactions Count and reconcile parts against Travelers Update ERP and PSS with accurate quantities and locations Maintain labeling and traceability standards Other duties as assigned Assembly & Hardware Kitting Review PSS and production plan to determine kitting priorities & shortages Pull and kit all required components Stage kits at correct work centers Update system and visual boards with kit status Hardware (HW) Kitting Execute picking lists / HW lists Label and organize kits per job Monitor HW inventory levels and shortages Receiving & Shipping Receive incoming materials, verify quantity and status against purchase orders and create system receivers Route materials to correct inventory/WIP locations Prepare outbound shipments (internal & customer) & package components securely Coordinate transfers to secondary processes (plating, painting, etc.) Inventory Monitoring Track shortages and low stock levels Communicate material risks to planning/production coordinator Success Metrics Inventory accuracy (%) Kit readiness on time (%) Receiving/Shipping turnaround time What You’ll Bring (Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Inventory control or warehouse experience Attention to detail and organization Your Experience (Minimum Qualifications): 1–5 years of relevant experience Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or production environment Vitesse Systems, LLC performs work controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
