Materials and Logistics Coordinator

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Materials and Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Harmony, NC . In this vital role, you will oversee the efficient management of materials, coordinate transportation logistics, and optimize warehouse operations to ensure seamless supply chain flow. Your proactive approach will support procurement activities, enhance inventory accuracy, and drive process improvements across our distribution network. Responsibilities Manage inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms, ensuring accurate stock counts and timely replenishments. Coordinate transportation planning and freight management, including shipping & receiving. Oversee warehouse distribution activities, including stocking, materials handling, and manual handling procedures to maximize efficiency and safety. Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing strategies, vendor management, pricing negotiations, and contract management to optimize costs and service levels. Support demand planning, production planning, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes to meet customer expectations while minimizing costs. Skills Microsoft Office suite, and ERP system experience. Extensive warehouse experience including warehouse management and operations. Proven ability in transportation including freight coordination, shipping logistics, and transportation planning. Ability to practice cross-functional communication effectively across departments such as customer service, warehouse operations, procurement, and logistics teams. Certifications or training in forklift operation or manual handling are preferred but not mandatory; safety awareness is essential.
