Essential Job Responsibilities: Understand and apply quality requirements and standards related to primary materials and purchased outside services. Perform inspections of incoming raw materials and purchased production components, including non-destructive material testing. Assess, record, approve, and release primary materials and purchased components through SAP and ELO. Monitor and troubleshoot SAP and ELO issues related to material receiving, approvals, and certificate keywording. Identify, document, investigate, and resolve raw material quality concerns, deviations, complaints, and system errors. Determine appropriate corrective actions and coordinate resolution efforts with suppliers and affected internal departments. Participate in supplier discussions, continuous improvement initiatives, and efforts to eliminate the root causes of quality issues. Ensure all activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with quality requirements. Identify and address unsafe conditions, follow all safety requirements, and serve as a positive role model for safe work practices. Education and Experience: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) . Proficient in Microsoft Office. SAP/ERP skills preferred. Required Skills and Abilities Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and record-keeping skills. Strong organizational, data entry, problem-solving, and time management abilities. Ability to effectively navigate, maintain, and update records within SAP, ELO, Microsoft Office, and other business systems. Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and competing deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively, treat others with respect, and promote accountability. Scheduling – works overtime as needed, flexible with shift hours/times. Physical Requirements: The noise level in the work environment is usually loud; hearing protection is provided and required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, coolant, or airborne particles and will work near moving mechanical parts. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly. Ability to perform excessive walking, standing, bending, climbing, reaching, grasping, and lifting. Ability to visually inspect loads and use of hands to use equipment. Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
