Material Handler (Mon-Thurs 6am-4:30pm)

To provide support, reliability and accuracy in the delivery of and distribution of raw materials from AJ vendors and AJ Trucks into each plant. This position is Monday - Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm, with occasional Fridays as needed. Job Duties: · Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE · Operate forklift, pallet jack, dolly · Complete the Forklift Operator Daily Checklist · Visually inspect material for any handling damage · General knowledge of material specifics for identification and differentiation · Move material to storage locations · Delivery and distribution of commonly shared items · Move material per inventory transfer as needed · Keep work area clean · Fill vertical and horizontal extrusion racks with supplies · Move and stack large buggies of extrusion · Pull glass per work order and stage for production · Perform assembly/production duties as needed Physical Demands: · While performing the job, the employee may be required to stand for long periods of time, use hands to lift, carry and stack material · The employee is frequently required to reach with hands, arms and to bend at waist · Frequently, employees must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs. up to 50 feet · Occasionally operator must be able to climb up and down forklifts · Must be able to pass forklift certification Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: Extensive Forklift : 1 year (Required) Language: English (Required) Ability to Commute: Bloomer, WI (Required) Work Location: In person
