Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Job Summary: The Materials Handler will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: · Store materials in assigned locations. · Load and unload machines and parts onto or off pallets, skids, trucks, etc. · Manage inventory by identifying and recording the location of inventory in the computer system. · Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition · Comply with all company processes, procedures, guidelines, quality directives and safety procedures · Multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment · Report damages or shortages to the appropriate person · Operate a forklift as required to move raw and finished goods · Assist with other tasks when necessary · Use Scanners to assist with placing product in the correct locations · Use computers/tablets/scanners to identify and track locations of product. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent qualification. · Ability to lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds. · Outstanding organizational and communication skills. 1-2 Years of material handling experience · Forklift experience (sit-down and stand-up) Detail-oriented mindset Data entry and computer skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00 - $23.50 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Employee assistance program Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
