Material Handler - Day Shift - 6:00am-2:30pm

Position Summary: This position is responsible for adequately putting away raw material and components in the proper designated locations utilizing IQMS scanners. Operating heavy equipment is a core requirement of this job including but not limited to, fork trucks, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts. This position will support receiving lead in checking in raw material and/or components. Qualifications required: · High school diploma or GED equivalent · Associates degree, college coursework or equivalent work experience · Licensed forklift truck, Bendi operator, Overhead crane, and scissor lifts (or ability to become qualified) · 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment · Experience with programmable scales and weigh counting a plus Basic math and problem-solving skills - addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication · IQMS experience a plus · Inventory Management experience desired · Strong organizational skills with attention to detail · Take initiative on problem solving and decision making · Ability to work a flexible schedule with possible shift overlap requirements · Available to work overtime if required Essential functions and responsibilities: Operate fork trucks, overhead cranes, and pallet jacks to store away day shift deliveries in proper locations · Good Communicator ability to listen to others and clearly present information and request · Establish a working knowledge of the Truform Business System · Maintain a clean and organized work area with attention to detail · Other duties as assigned Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Employee Handbook Success factors/job competencies: · Complete essential functions and responsibilities outlined above within the guidelines and timeframes supplied by the customer and Truform management · Work well within a team environment Physical demands and work environment: · Must be able to work in an environment that is not climate controlled · Must be able to squat, bend, twist and move to cycle count · Must be able to operate fork truck · Must be able to operate overhead crane · Must be able to operate in tight spaces · Must not fear heights · Must have fine motor skills · Must be able to lift 50 pounds · Must have acceptable vision – minimum 20/30 or 20/50 with correction.
