Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler and become a vital part of our warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling, moving, and managing materials to ensure smooth flow throughout the facility. Your proactive approach will support inventory accuracy, safe handling practices, and timely shipping and receiving processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment and contribute to a fast-paced, safety-focused environment where every task makes a difference. Responsibilities Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and other heavy machinery to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Perform order picking using RF scanners and manual methods to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper stacking and storage while adhering to safety protocols in line with OSHA standards. Manage inventory by accurately recording movements using inventory management systems; conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipment contents, preparing documentation, and ensuring proper labeling. Handle materials with manual lifting techniques, ensuring safe practices for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following safety procedures, conducting routine inspections of equipment, and reporting any hazards or maintenance needs promptly. Experience Proven warehouse distribution or warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse operations. Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and other material handling equipment. Prior experience in order picking, shipping & receiving, or inventory management is highly desirable. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while managing heavy loads. Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation accuracy. Previous supervisory experience in warehouse settings is a plus but not required; we value proactive team players eager to grow their skills in warehouse supervision or logistics roles.
