Material Handler

At Pacur, our Material Handlers are responsible for the movement of materials (raw, in process, and finished) within the production floor and warehouse. Shift: Material Handlers work a rotating 12-hour shift. 7:00AM to 7:00PM and 7:00PM to 7:00AM. The 28-day rotation results in approximately 14 work shifts per month. What you will do: Safely drive a sit-down forklift in production and warehouse spaces Monitor material levels on the production lines - replenish as needed Promptly respond to calls from production line operators Remove finished product from the production lines and stage in correct warehouse locations Assist in adjusting roll position on pallets (roll tipping) Accurately complete transactions within the warehouse management system Measure and cut cores to be used on the production lines Provide back-up coverage for shipping and receiving team mates Safely operate stretch wrapper Assist in cycle counting What are the education and skill requirements? High School diploma or GED Ability to read and execute written instructions Prior experience driving a sit-down forklift in a production environment Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment What are the physical requirements? Ability to sit on a forklift for long periods of time Ability to frequently get on/off the forklift Must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds You should be proficient in: Warehouse Experience Material Handler Experience Forklift Licensed High School / GED Experience in a Manufacturing Environment Basic Computer Skills Machines & technologies you'll use: Wrapping Machines RFID Systems Forklifts
