Material Control Supervisor

Role Overview: The Material Control Supervisor manages daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, stocking, and cycle counts, ensuring accurate inventory and optimal space utilization. They coordinate with procurement and quality teams to facilitate timely material movements, resolve issues, and support production needs. The role involves leading a team, fostering teamwork, and maintaining high customer service standards while ensuring safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities Oversee material control processes, addressing issues with material movements and inventory accuracy. Manage warehouse operations, including stocking, bin maintenance, and cycle counts. Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure efficient goods receipt and inventory flow. Present plans to optimize space and storage techniques to senior management. Lead and develop team members, promoting a collaborative environment. Support company initiatives and maintain operations within management systems. Report anomalies and escalate issues as needed. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years leadership experience. Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint preferred. Understanding of inventory control procedures. Strong decision-making, communication, and process improvement skills. Working Conditions: Ability to operate in a warehouse environment, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting items up to 10 lbs. Occasionally handle heavier items with assistive tools. Maintain safety standards and communicate effectively in English.
