Location: Nevada (Manufacturing Facility) Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt Reports To: Inventory Control Manager The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing Noovo's Master Production Schedule (MPS), ensuring manufacturing activities are aligned with customer demand, material availability, production capacity, and business priorities. This role serves as the central coordination point between Sales, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Engineering, and Quality to establish a realistic, achievable, and stable production schedule. The Master Scheduler translates customer orders and production requirements into a structured manufacturing plan, balancing demand against available resources, component lead times, labor capacity, and production constraints. Operating in a make-to-order, multi-stage manufacturing environment, this position is responsible for maintaining visibility into each vehicle's production status, coordinating planned start and completion dates, and managing schedule changes to minimize disruption, material shortages, excess inventory, and production inefficiencies. Key Responsibilities Master Production Scheduling Develop, maintain, and publish the Master Production Schedule based on confirmed customer orders, production priorities, and manufacturing capacity. Establish planned production start dates, stage completion dates, and final vehicle completion dates. Maintain VIN-specific production schedules reflecting vehicle models, configurations, and customer requirements. Coordinate production sequencing to optimize manufacturing flow and minimize disruptions. Monitor actual production performance against the MPS and adjust future schedules based on verified capacity and constraints. Maintain short-, medium-, and long-term production planning visibility. Ensure the MPS remains the authoritative production planning reference for the organization. Capacity Planning & Production Loading Evaluate manufacturing capacity across production stages and departments. Coordinate with the Director, Manufacturing Operations, and Production Managers to establish realistic production rates. Identify bottlenecks, labor constraints, equipment limitations, and capacity imbalances. Analyze the impact of different vehicle models and configurations on production loading. Support production ramp planning and the transition to higher-volume manufacturing. Develop capacity scenarios to evaluate staffing requirements, overtime, additional shifts, and production expansion. Ensure production schedules reflect demonstrated capacity rather than unsupported assumptions. Production Schedule Control & Change Management Establish and maintain a defined production schedule freeze or locked planning period. Evaluate requests for schedule changes, including customer modifications, material shortages, engineering changes, and production disruptions. Assess the operational impact of proposed changes before modifying the MPS. Coordinate approval of schedule changes with appropriate stakeholders. Communicate approved changes to Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and other affected departments. Maintain a record of significant schedule changes and their causes. Minimize unnecessary schedule volatility that results in excess material movement, rework, inefficient labor utilization, or delayed deliveries. Production Execution & Schedule Attainment Monitor daily production progress by VIN, manufacturing stage, and planned completion date. Compare actual stage completions against scheduled milestones. Identify schedule deviations and communicate risks to Manufacturing leadership. Coordinate recovery planning when production falls behind schedule. Analyze recurring causes of missed production commitments. Support daily SQDIP meetings with schedule attainment and delivery performance data. Maintain accurate visibility into work-in-process (WIP) and upcoming production require…
