Marine Parts Manager

Marine Connection, South Florida's #1 Dealer for New & Used Boat Sales, is looking for a Parts Manager to join our team at our West Palm Beach location. This position is a Tuesday – Saturday schedule. The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the parts and accessories department. The parts manager oversees inventory management and vendor relationships. The position also includes selling marine equipment and supplies. The Parts Manager provides exceptional customer service and oversees parts and accessories staff. KEY TASKS: · Provides excellent customer service. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to determine their parts needs · Acts as a liaison between the parts department and other store operations. · Adheres to established parts inventory levels and balance them for maximum turnover. · Negotiate competitive pricing with vendors and manufacturers when necessary. · Adheres to established policy for special ordering of parts. · Maintains accurate records of sales, inventory, and orders. · Performs weekly cycle counts to maximize inventory accuracy ,· Assists Service Manager, Service Advisors, and technicians to ensure timely turnaround of parts to be utilized for work orders. · Assist customers by phone, internet, and in person with price quotes and parts sales. · Maintains an orderly, clean, and professional parts area. · Analyzes sales, expenses, and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals. · Knowledge of Yamaha YDIS operating system. · Knowledge of Lightspeed DMS. The list of responsibilities is not all-inclusive. In addition, other assignments can be assigned at the request of management. Education & Experience · High School Diploma or equivalent · 3+ year(s): Must have Parts department experience. Marine Experience required.
