Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marine Logistics Officer to oversee the efficient management of fleet logistics operations. This role involves coordinating vessel movements, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth warehouse and supply chain functions. The Marine Logistics Officer will play a critical role in maintaining operational readiness and supporting maritime activities through effective logistics planning and execution. Candidates must possess strong skills in logistics management, inventory control, and proficiency with relevant systems and tools. Duties Coordinate daily fleet logistics activities, including vessel scheduling, routing, and transportation planning. Manage inventory levels across warehouses, ensuring accurate tracking and timely replenishment using inventory management systems. Oversee warehouse operations to ensure safety, organization, and efficiency in storage practices. Utilize spreadsheets and other Microsoft Office tools to maintain detailed records of inventory, shipments, and logistical data. Collaborate with various departments to optimize logistics processes and resolve any operational issues promptly. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maritime standards as related to logistics operations. Maintain accurate documentation for all logistical activities, including vessel manifests, inventory reports, and shipping schedules. Support USCG Certified Captain responsibilities as needed within the scope of marine logistics operations. Requirements Proven experience in logistics management, inventory control, or related fields. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel for managing spreadsheets and data analysis. Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse operations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of maritime logistics or experience working in a marine environment is preferred. USCG Certified Captain certification is required for this role. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address logistical challenges proactively.
