Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technician PortaFab Corporation is seeking Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technician ready to roll sleeves up and get to work. Position is Full-Time with insurance and pension benefit. We are looking for a go getter to maintain the building and equipment here at PortaFab. Total package pay = $45.70/hour $35/hour take home pay+ $9.70/hour union medical benefits (paid to the union on your behalf)+ $1/hour pension benefits (paid to the union on your behalf) = $45.70 Job Description Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on building, machinery, electrical, mechanical and utility systems. (Single Phase and 3 Phase Electric.) Candidate able to Mig Weld Aluminum is a Plus. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, greases bearings, seals, etc.; repairs or replaces broken parts, gears, motors, belts, chain drives and bearings. Follow the Lock Out Tag Out Procedure to keep Employees Safe. Performs repair of all buildings and equipment. (Major repairs are performed under the supervision of licensed maintenance workers.) · Cleans, inspects and repairs equipment and motors. · Calibrates and repairs pneumatic systems. · Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures. · Installs electrical wiring and equipment; new electrical services, wiring during remodeling projects; replaces and repairs wiring as needed. Electrical wiring for portable buildings and production work. · Must have experience wiring different types of electric. (single phase, 3 phase electric) Must be experienced with installing breaker boxes along with bending conduit to install electric. Must have experience wiring lights. Monitor and coordinate work performed by outside contractors. · Obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed · Suggest methods to improve services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of facility tenants. · Maintain inventory of replacement parts/tools required for plant daily operation. · Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required. · Assists with the renovation/remodeling of buildings; repairs plaster and drywall; paints building structures. · Performs Basic Plumbing Repairs. Replaces broken windows; repairs doors, door locks and closets; installs window blinds. (moved down) QUALIFICATIONS - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be extremely reliable. Candidate to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE – Associates Degree in Industrial Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology or equivalent. Will consider highly experienced candidates in building operations and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS -Valid Driver's License.
