Position Summary: Responsible for monitoring jobs throughout the shop and helping ensure production orders continue moving through each operation according to priority and schedule. This person will work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, and other departments to identify delays, follow up on urgent jobs, communicate status, and escalate issues that could impact delivery. We are open to an entry-level candidate with strong organizational and communication skills who can be trained, as well as someone with previous aerospace/manufacturing expediting experience. Daily tasks : Monitor jobs throughout the shop to keep production moving according to priority and schedule. Follow up on urgent jobs and confirm progress with department leads. Identify delays and coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, and other departments to resolve issues. Help ensure completed jobs move promptly to the next operation. Communicate job status and escalate issues that could affect delivery dates. Minimum Qualifications : Standing for extended periods of time, bending, stooping, reaching. Lifting to 40 lbs. and moving 40 lbs. pans with dollies. Ability to read simple blueprints Reporting Relationships: Director of Manufacturing and Plant Manager Working Conditions: First shift position. Position Requirements: This is a full-time position requiring an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required depending on production needs.
