Job Title: Manufacturing and Warehouse Associates Employment Type: Full-Time Location : Advance, NC, United States Work Model: On-Site Compensation : Competitive Hourly Pay + Full Benefits About the Role: We are recruiting on behalf of Ashley Furniture for Manufacturing and Warehouse Associates in Advance, NC. In this plant-based operational role, you will perform precision furniture assembly, material handling, inventory control, and staging within our manufacturing and distribution complex. Key Responsibilities (Manufacturing & Production): Assemble fine furniture pieces using pneumatic tools, hand equipment, and standardized production processes. Inspect finished wood, upholstery, and case goods components to verify compliance with strict quality standards. Package and crate finished furniture safely to prevent cosmetic or structural transit damage. Keep assembly lines and production stations organized following established 5S housekeeping standards. Perform routine equipment inspections and communicate maintenance needs promptly to line leads. Key Responsibilities (Warehouse & Distribution): Unload materials safely, stage parts across production bays, and move goods across warehouse docks. Operate powered equipment including forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks following plant safety rules. Scan production tags and track material flow using digital inventory management scanners. Work collaboratively with production teams to achieve shift volume and craftsmanship goals. Required Skills & Qualifications: Physical capability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver materials up to 100 lbs (with team-lift assistance for heavier items). Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse operations is preferred; on-the-job training provided. Strong attention to detail regarding product finish, alignment, and accurate inventory counts. Unwavering commitment to safety procedures, situational awareness, and PPE requirements.
