Job Title: Manufacturing and Warehouse Associate - (Leesport, PA) Employment Type: Full-Time Location : Leesport, PA, United States Work Model: On-Site Compensation : Competitive Hourly Pay + Full Benefits About the Role: We are recruiting on behalf of Ashley Furniture for a Manufacturing and Warehouse Associate in Leesport, PA. This dual-scope role involves assembling fine furniture using precision tools, executing warehouse staging, operating material handling equipment, and verifying finished product quality. Key Responsibilities (Manufacturing & Assembly): Assemble quality home furnishings utilizing hand, pneumatic, and specialized production power tools. Inspect incoming components and completed products for craftsmanship, structural integrity, and aesthetic finish. Package, tag, and wrap finished products securely to safeguard items during storage and shipping. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace following 5S lean manufacturing guidelines. Perform routine equipment maintenance and promptly notify maintenance staff of mechanical concerns. Key Responsibilities (Warehouse & Logistics): Unload, receive, transport, and stage furniture components across distribution bays and loading docks. Safely operate industrial equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Utilize digital RF scanning systems to log receipts, record cycle counts, and update inventory records. Collaborate with manufacturing and shipping teammates to achieve daily production and delivery goals. Required Skills & Qualifications: Physical capability to safely lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 100 lbs (with team-lift assistance for heavier items). Experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools, or operating warehouse equipment preferred; on-the-job training provided. Strong attention to detail regarding product inspection, inventory tagging, and count verification. Uncompromising focus on personal safety, PPE compliance, and maintaining a hazard-free work area.
