The Opportunity Black & Veatch is seeking an exceptional professional to join our Infrastructure Advisory organization as a consulting manager and resource planning leader to lead the execution of integrated resource planning (IRP) engagements for electric utilities and large electric users. In this role, you will provide clients with a strategic vision of their long-term resource plans and help shape our IRP solution to better support current and future clients. By joining Infrastructure Advisory, a consultant group that advises clients across the infrastructure lifecycle, you will be joining a team of dedicated professionals who are aligned with Black & Veatch’s Purpose, Building a World of Difference. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Deliver innovative solutions to address our client’s most pressing issues, including aging infrastructure, portfolio optimization, asset investments, and improving data management and decision making. Lead the execution of resource planning for utilities and large electric users, guiding technical teams and energy market modeling (e.g., PLEXOS, EnCompass) to inform client strategy, integrated resource planning, and investment decisions. Translate client objectives, regulatory requirements, and market assumptions into a clear strategic vision and actionable long-term resource plans to support their evolving energy needs.
