Job Description Manager, Integrated Logistics Sealed Air is seeking a driven professional to fulfill our current opening in Lenoir, NC. The qualified candidate will report to the Senior Manager, Integrated Logistics and be responsible for all aspects of material processes at our busy equipment manufacturing site. The position requires the ability to create, implement, and maintain cycle count programs, excel at inventory management, inventory balancing and product flow throughout the facility; plan, direct, and coordinate the storage and distribution of materials, maintaining the accuracy of inventory levels; drive on-time performance with timely receiving and shipping of materials; develop and achieve relevant KPIs. The role requires the ability to handle multiple projects, work independently and interact with all levels of management. Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with safety programs. Develop, implement and evaluate policies and procedures designed to improve the organization's ability to receive, store, distribute and ship goods and materials in the most efficient, cost-effective manner possible. Implement and evaluate inventory control measures to ensure inventories are at optimal levels and are fully supportive of scheduled production. Interface with Customer Service and Sales regarding quality and timely shipment of goods in an effort to ensure exceptional service levels for customers. Resolve critical customer complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurring issues. Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize materials' availability. Reconcile discrepancies between physical inventories, cycle counts and data listed in the inventory control system. Actively monitor warehousing and distribution procedures evaluating efficiencies, championing adoption of "best practices" to enhance cost effectiveness and improve responsiveness. Manage the obsolete/surplus inventory program. Lead, coach, train, develop and evaluate materials team members in all aspects of material flow. Working with the North America and Global transportation teams, develop and maintain a transportation system on domestic and international freight that ensures business needs are met. Create, manage, and achieve the overall area budgets Perform other relevant duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college. (Degree in Business or Transportation/Logistics Management preferred) 5+ years of experience in Warehouse or Transportation roles Excellent oral and written communications skills.
