Manager Finance Operations

With over 70 years of operating experience, Primoris Power Delivery services include engineering and design, installation and maintenance, material and equipment procurement, repair of electrical transmission, distribution, substation, wireless communication, and storm restoration. Our experience ranges from small engineering and consulting projects to multi-million dollar turn-key distribution, substation, and transmission line programs.

Edison Power Constructors has an immediate opening for a Finance Manager for Irvine or Fairfield CA.  

Short Summary of the position.   

The Finance Manager leads financial oversight for approximately $100 million in annual revenue within Edison Power Constructors. This role manages the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, oversees budgeting and forecasting, ensures accuracy of financial reporting, and partners closely with operations to validate project performance. The Finance Manager provides strategic financial insights, identifies risks and opportunities, and drives continuous improvement in financial processes

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, including review of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. Level: Manage
• Lead development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts; present financial results to leadership. Level: Manage
• Manage P&L performance for assigned business units (~$150M revenue); identify risks and opportunities. Level: Manage
• Partner with operations to validate project data, revenue recognition, cost projections, and productivity metrics. Level: Manage
• Analyze billing trends and improve financial processes and reporting tools. Level: Lead/Manage
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Education - BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 5-8 years of experience
• Construction finance, project accounting, P&L ownership, leadership experience
• Position is in office, not remote
• Travel - up to 20%

Compensation:  $110K-$130K/year (Compensation will depend on qualifications and experience.)
