Analyst I Finance Operations

Edison Power Constructors has an immediate opening for a Finance Manager for Irvine or Fairfield CA.  

Short Summary of the position.   

The Finance Analyst supports the financial operations of Edison Power Constructors by managing P&L oversight for approximately $100 million in annual revenue. This role performs monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, prepares journal entries, develops budgets and forecasts, and partners with operations to validate project financial data. The position ensures accurate reporting and supports informed business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Support preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts; analyze variances and trends.
• Partner with operations to validate project cost data, revenue recognition, and productivity metrics.
• Maintain and analyze P&L for assigned business units (~$100M revenue).
• Oversee billing trends, prepare financial reports, dashboards, and ad‑hoc analyses for management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Education - BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience
• Financial analysis, construction accounting, project financial support
• Position is in office, not remote
• Travel - up to 20%

Compensation: $80K-$100K/year (Compensation will depend on qualifications and experience.)
