Manager, Commodity Management and Sourcing

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Commodity Management and Sourcing to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will lead sourcing and supplier management activities that support execution across complex manufacturing and supply chain environments. The manager will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to keep schedules on track, resolve material and technical challenges, and drive timely closure of open actions. This position is remote and includes domestic travel as needed to support business priorities. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $107,500 – $204,500 annually Responsibilities Develop and maintain execution schedules for supplier products Communicate status updates and challenges to stakeholders Drive closure of actions by building relationships with suppliers Discuss material and technical challenges from a manufacturing perspective Attend meetings via Zoom and maintain a professional presence Manage domestic travel expectations of 10-20% Qualifications University degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years in procurement, or 5+ years with an advanced degree U.S. citizenship or eligibility for export authorizations required Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Experience in supplier performance management and procurement Familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) match and flexible spending accounts Flexible work schedules and paid time off Employee assistance program and parental leave Educational advancement support through an employee scholar program Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
