Maintenance Technician

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Computer literacy. Basic mathematic skills. Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, warehouse, electrical work, or related environments preferred. Ability to become Forklift certified. Essential Functions Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on manufacturing and warehouse equipment. Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, drives, control panels, relays, sensors, and conveyors. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and performance. Inspect equipment and identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment upgrades. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation. Support facility maintenance activities, including lighting, electrical distribution systems, and building equipment. Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to resolve equipment issues and improve operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and lockout/tagout procedures. Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery. Other duties may be assigned. Physical Demands Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to operate forklifts, and other facility equipment safely. Ability to work in warehouse, distribution center, and production environments. Work Environment This position works primarily in a distribution center and warehouse environment with exposure to moving equipment, varying temperatures, and industrial machinery. Compliance with all safety procedures and use of appropriate PPE is required.
