Maintenance Technician - Construction Fleet & Equipment

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to support our operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, stays organized, and is comfortable handling vehicle upkeep and general maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on company trucks, trailers and construction equipment Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance Track and maintain inspection, registration, and service needs Conduct regular equipment and vehicle inspections Identify potential mechanical issues before they become major problems Ensure all vehicles remain compliant with applicable safety requirements Manage fluid checks, filter changes, lubrication, batteries, tires, and other basic maintenance tasks Coordinate with outside repair vendors when needed Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies and parts Run parts and supply errands as needed Qualifications Experience maintaining trucks, trailers, construction equipment, or similar machinery preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to keep accurate maintenance and inspection records Self-motivated with strong organizational skills Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks CDL and/or diesel mechanic experience is a plus but not required What We Offer Flexible part-time schedule Competitive pay based on experience Supportive, family-oriented work environment Opportunity to help build and improve our maintenance program Consistent, year-round work Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour Work Location: In person
