Maintenance Planning Coordinator

Winpak Heat Seal is seeking a Maintenance Planning Coordinator to join their Maintenance team in Pekin, Illinois . In this role, you will plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to support safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. You will work closely with Maintenance, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure maintenance work is properly planned, materials are available, and resources are aligned to minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities based on plant priorities and available resources. Develop detailed work orders that identify required labor, parts, tools, materials, and estimated time to complete the work. Coordinate daily and weekly maintenance schedules with Operations and Maintenance to balance planned work with changing production needs and emergency repairs. Ensure required parts and materials are ordered, tracked, and available for scheduled maintenance activities. Maintain appropriate spare parts inventory and support MRO inventory management and purchasing activities. Create, update, and close maintenance work orders and maintain accurate equipment records, job plans, and bills of materials within the CMMS. Source and coordinate with vendors for parts, services, and repairs, including obtaining quotes and supporting cost control initiatives. Support maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives while serving as a key liaison between Maintenance, Operations, and Supply Chain. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning, industrial operations, parts management, or a related manufacturing environment. 3+ years of experience working with computerized maintenance management systems and maintenance work orders. Experience with MRO inventory management, industrial parts, and maintenance purchasing processes. Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs, while also working in a manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Previous hands-on maintenance or mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively across departments. Experience developing preventive maintenance plans, work orders, or maintenance schedules. Experience coordinating vendors, obtaining quotes, or supporting maintenance-related cost control initiatives. Additional Details This position is full-time and based onsite at the Winpak Heat Seal facility in Pekin, Illinois. The position works in both an office and manufacturing environment Limited travel may be required. Compensation Range: $81,000 - $95,000 The compensation range provided is a general guideline only.
