Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Pay: $19.00 per hour Health & Wellness: Company-paid Life Insurance Policy and Employee Assistance Program; Medical, Dental, Vision; Supplemental Life Insurance; LTD/STD Retirement: Company-sponsored 401K Retirement Plan with company match Other Benefits: Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off Location: Dallas, TX, On-site position Department: Operations Reports To: Operations Manager OVERVIEW: The Mailroom Driver primarily operates a company-provided SUV to transport company mail in a timely, safe, and secure manner between designated United States Postal Service locations, company facilities, and other local sites in accordance with established procedures and business requirements. In addition to transportation responsibilities, the Mailroom Driver provides operational support to the Mailroom team by assisting with the sorting, processing, staging, and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail. Responsibilities Operate the assigned company SUV in a safe, responsible, and professional manner and comply with all applicable traffic laws and company vehicle requirements Perform scheduled mail pickups from designated post office locations Pick up and deliver mail between local company sites as required Perform special or unscheduled mail pickup and delivery trips based on operational requirements Safeguard company mail and other materials while in transit and maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive information. Maintain required records and documentation associated with operations as required Assist other Mailroom personnel with sorting, processing, staging, and preparation of incoming and outgoing mail Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment and assigned company vehicle Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Demonstrated ability to safely operate a company vehicle including in various traffic and weather conditions High school diploma or equivalent preferred Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to follow established schedules, procedures, and instructions with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and dependability Ability to communicate effectively with post office personnel, company employees, and other stakeholders Ability to maintain confidentiality and properly safeguard company mail and materials Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as a member of the Mailroom team Sit and operate a vehicle safely for extended periods Frequently enter and exit a vehicle throughout the workday Stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform other routine physical activities associated with mail handling Lift, carry, push, and pull mail, packages, containers, and other materials, up to 50 lbs., within the requirements of the position EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY On-Target is an equal employment opportunity provider.
