Start date is to be discussed, training is 2 weeks at $50 a day 6 days a week PREFERRED, we can discuss 5 days a week with scheduled days off, all holidays off - 2 week notice to request for days off We provide the daily delivery vehicle however you will need your own transportation to the post office and back Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques Drive assigned routes confidently, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update route statuses, and communicate with dispatchers efficiently. Manually handle heavy items during loading and unloading processes, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols are followed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and route activities to ensure compliance and accountability. Experience is not required but preferred Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Knowledge of traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards for commercial vehicle operation. Experience using mobile devices for route navigation or delivery tracking is preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as load & unload activities and manual handling throughout the workday.
