Machine Operator/Material Handler

OPERATOR NEEDED ON FIRST SHIFT FIRST SHIFT RUNS MON-THURS 5:00AM-3:00PM Job tasks and duties include: Attention to detail and using batch recipe sheets to make batches per customer specifications. Attention to safety, quality, and production requirements from management The ability to operate and maintain mixing, conveying, and packaging machinery and equipment Accurately perform detailed quality checks as specified Reporting equipment issues/faults and quality issues to plant foreman and supervisor when issues occur Sitdown forklift operating to stage raw materials in the loading area and then processing raw materials into the production system Properly labeling and packaging all finished product into boxes Preparing finished product boxes for shipments Positions and Duty areas rotate throughout the day Abiding by all safety and company regulations Abiding by all quality and production requirements General cleaning and maintaining of work area and machinery daily Regular communication between operators, supervisors, and managers Additional Skills & Qualifications: Able to work in a respirator environment Recent production experience in a manufacturing environment a positive Ability to operate a sitdown forklift. Previous forklift experience is a plus Physically able to lift 55 lbs on a regular basis Able to work effectively at a quick pace as directed by supervisor Seeking self-motivated team members to join our team Reliable transportation to and from work Strong emphasis on attendance and punctuality Pay rate: Starts at $18 an hour Pay boost after 90 day probationary period based on individual performance Hours : FIRST SHIFT: MON-THURS 5AM-3PM Position is interviewing and starting immediately.
