Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial equipment and machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your expertise in machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and precision measurement will be essential in maintaining optimal production flow. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment where safety, quality, and productivity are top priorities. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machines including CNC machining centers, stamping presses, press brake machines, CNC lathes, and milling machines to ensure smooth production processes. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to accurately produce components according to specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy and ensure parts meet quality standards. Troubleshoot mechanical issues with industrial equipment promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operation. Follow safety standards in production environments by adhering to proper lockout/tagout procedures, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a clean workspace. Operate forklifts and handle materials efficiently within the warehouse or fabrication area for materials handling and inventory management. Collaborate with team members on assembly lines, tooling setups, and fabrication tasks using hand tools and shop math skills for precise assembly. Skills Strong understanding of mechanical blueprint reading and interpretation of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Experience operating various industrial equipment such as drilling machines, stamping presses, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, and fabrication tools. Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments along with the ability to perform safety inspections regularly. Ability to perform precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments. Familiarity with factory experience including materials handling, packaging processes, and warehouse operations. Basic math skills for shop calculations related to dimensions, tolerances, and material quantities. Mechanical knowledge combined with troubleshooting skills for industrial equipment maintenance. Preferred: Experience interpreting technical drawings and production documentation accurately for efficient manufacturing workflows.
