Lumper

We are seeking hard-working, reliable, and physically fit Lumpers to join our warehouse and distribution operations in Orangeville. In this role, you will be a critical part of our logistics team, specializing in the safe and efficient handling, loading, and unloading of freight. Core Responsibilities Manual Loading & Unloading: Hand-bombing, loading, and unloading floor-loaded containers and trailers filled with heavy products of varying sizes and weights. Palletizing & Staging: Sorting products onto pallets accurately according to specific manifest and shipping requirements. Inventory Handling: Inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, correct counts, and reporting discrepancies immediately to the warehouse supervisor. Safety & Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free dock and warehouse floor to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements & Qualifications Physical Stamina: Proven ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads (repetitive lifting of 50 to 75 lbs) throughout an 8 to 10-hour shift. Reliability: Strong attendance record, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are absolute musts for this long-term operational role. Speed & Accuracy: Ability to maintain a fast pace of work without compromising safety or inventory accuracy. Equipment Experience: Previous experience in lumping is considered a strong asset. Safety Gear: Mandatory requirement to wear CSA-approved Grade 1 steel-toe safety boots.
