Job Description We are looking for a dependable and hard-working Lumber Yard Warehouse Worker to join our team. This is a full-time position with steady work, opportunities for growth, and a hands-on work environment. The job involves keeping the lumber yard clean, organized, and properly stocked; receiving and unloading incoming materials; loading delivery trucks and customer vehicles; and checking materials for damage or discrepancies. This position requires working in a warehouse and being comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions and performing physical work throughout the day. Responsibilities Load and unload lumber and building materials from delivery trucks and customer vehicles. Organize and maintain inventory in the lumber yard. Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely to move materials. Training will be provided if needed. Assist customers in locating and loading materials. Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies or damaged materials to management. Follow all company safety procedures and policies. Qualifications Previous experience in a lumber yard, building materials, warehouse, or construction environment is a plus. Forklift experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate. Must be able to safely lift up to 80 pounds. Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, climb, reach, and lift for extended periods. Must have a clean driving record. Must be dependable, work well with others, and take pride in doing the job right. A positive attitude and willingness to help customers are important. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 80 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, climb, reach, and work around lumber and building materials. Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, wet, and other weather conditions.
