LOT PHOTOGRAPHER / INVENTORY MERCHANDISING SPECIALIST Hutchinson Automotive Group Location: Macon, GA Job Type: Full-Time Department: Sales / Digital Operations ABOUT THE POSITION Hutchinson Automotive Group is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Lot Photographer / Inventory Merchandising Specialist to join our team. This position will be responsible for photographing and maintaining the digital presentation of new and used vehicle inventory across two dealership locations . The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working outdoors, has a strong eye for detail, and understands that high-quality vehicle photography plays an important role in generating online customer engagement and sales. This is more than simply taking pictures. You will play an important role in making sure our inventory is properly photographed, accurately represented, and professionally presented online. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Photograph new and used vehicles at both dealership locations. Complete professional exterior and interior photo sets for each vehicle. Capture required details including: Front, rear and side exterior views Interior Dashboard and odometer Wheels and tires Engine compartment when appropriate Vehicle features and equipment Any noticeable damage or imperfections on used vehicles Ensure the correct photos are assigned to the correct vehicle/VIN. Maintain consistent photo quality, lighting, angles and presentation. Keep inventory photography current as vehicles arrive, are reconditioned, detailed and become photo-ready. Identify vehicles missing photos and prioritize them for completion. Re-photograph vehicles when photos do not meet dealership standards. Work closely with Sales, Used Car, Detail, Recon and Management teams. Maintain high photo compliance across both dealership locations. Help ensure vehicles are professionally presented across the dealership's digital retail channels. Follow dealership safety procedures while working around vehicle inventory and traffic. Maintain photography equipment and report equipment issues when necessary. PHOTO STANDARDS Our goal is to provide customers with an exceptional online shopping experience. Used Vehicles: Target 30+ quality photos per vehicle Complete exterior and interior coverage Clear representation of vehicle condition Detailed photos of wheels, tires, features and imperfections New Vehicles: Target 20+ quality photos per vehicle Professional exterior and interior photography Consistent dealership presentation Complete coverage of key vehicle features WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR The ideal candidate: Has strong attention to detail. Takes pride in producing high-quality work. Is dependable and self-motivated. Can work independently without constant supervision. Is comfortable working outside in varying weather conditions. Can work efficiently while maintaining quality. Has good organizational and time-management skills. Is comfortable using cameras, smartphones and basic computer technology. Has an eye for composition, lighting and presentation. Can work effectively across two dealership locations. Understands the importance of accuracy when working with VINs and inventory. Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. EXPERIENCE Automotive photography experience is preferred but not required . Photography, automotive, dealership, inventory, merchandising, detailing or digital marketing experience is a plus. We are willing to train the right person who demonstrates the right work ethic, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
