Long Haul Truck Driver

Overview We are seeking a dependable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our logistics team. Interested can call us - 6477408920 Minimum 1 year of experience Must be 25 years old Responsibilities Safely operate heavy-duty trucks over long distances, adhering to all federal and state transportation laws Transport freight efficiently from origin to destination while maintaining delivery schedules Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Assist with freight handling, securing loads, and verifying cargo accuracy Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to maintain vehicle operability Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery logs, and maintenance reports Follow all safety protocols related to freight handling, vehicle operation, and equipment use Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience in freight transportation and long-distance hauling preferred Knowledge of forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is a plus Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks and trailers Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in commercial driving Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently Excellent navigation skills with the ability to read maps or GPS systems accurately Physical ability to lift heavy loads up to 50 pounds and perform manual tasks as required Prior experience with freight handling and securement techniques is desirable This position offers an opportunity for skilled drivers to contribute significantly to our logistics operations while ensuring safety and efficiency on the road.
