We are seeking dedicated and experienced Long-Haul Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting freight over long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery while adhering to all regulations. ort freight across Canada and the USA.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Route/trip planning.
• Manage freight loading and unloading.
• Maintain accurate e-logs and delivery schedules.
• Communicate effectively with operations and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Typically away from home for 3-6 days at a time, with extended trips of 13-14 days approximatley every 6-8 weeks.
Requirements
• 2 years verifiable AZ experience holding a valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record and CVOR
• Fast card or valid passport
• Criminal Search
• Drug and Alcohol program/Clearinghouse
• Proven experience in long haul driving or similar roles within the transportation industry.
• Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members, enforcement and customers.
