Long Distance Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

We are looking for Long Distance Delivery Driver/Warehouse associate. We have great benefits. This position perform the following: Complete door to door deliveries by driving company truck on assigned route. Pick and assemble orders as indicated on the pick list. Confirm accurate item delivery with customer and obtain customer signature on Sales Order. Receive customer payments at time of delivery, ensuring the correct amounts received. Stack and organize warehouse pallets. Documents and completes driver logs accurately documenting returns and customer notes when making deliveries. Assist receiving with unloading, stocking, and inventory check in a timely manner. Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and inventory. Coordinate with salespersons to assemble urgent deliveries to customers. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service. Maintain and safely navigate the Company vehicle as per the Company Vehicle Policy. Participate in the department meetings. Attend Company events and functions outside of normal working hours. Other duties as required by manager. Requirement: Hand-eye coordination, since they must coordinate their hands, legs and eyes to maintain a fast reaction time on the roads Able to operate forklift for a majority of the daily working hours. Able to walk or stand for a majority of the daily working hours. Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Ability to handle and move up to 165 pounds assisted frequently. Able to stay overnight as needed Working Conditions: Cold temperatures while working in warehouse and freezer Basic level English - Read/write/speak/listen. Maintains a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and afterhours as needed. CDL class A or B license with manual transmission, or able to obtain it within four months from the hiring date. * Educational Reimbursement Program might be available for eligible employees Knowledge of federal and state laws that regulate the road freight transport industry.
