Logistics Operations Coordinator

CARGO EXPRESS LEZAMA J LLC. is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Logistics Operations Coordinator to support daily freight transportation, shipment tracking, scheduling, and delivery operations. The ideal candidate is organized, communicates effectively, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate freight shipments, pickups, deliveries, and transportation schedules. Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers and logistics partners. Communicate with drivers, carriers, brokers, warehouses, and customers. Schedule appointments and resolve delivery delays or shipment issues. Prepare and maintain bills of lading, rate confirmations, invoices, and shipping records. Update shipment data in TMS, dispatch platforms, and internal systems. Assist with load planning, route coordination, and carrier assignments. Monitor delivery performance, transportation costs, and logistics KPIs. Investigate shipment discrepancies, damaged freight, and documentation errors. Maintain accurate records and follow company procedures and applicable transportation safety regulations. Qualifications Previous logistics, transportation, freight, dispatch, or supply chain experience preferred. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team. Experience with TMS, dispatch software, FTL/LTL freight, or transportation documentation is a plus.
