Logistics Manager

We’re looking for a Logistics Manager in Vancouver, BC to oversee transportation, warehouse coordination and day-to-day distribution activities while working closely with suppliers, carriers and internal teams. This is a hands-on management position for someone who understands the practical side of logistics and can keep multiple priorities moving without losing sight of cost, service and delivery requirements. Core Responsibilities Oversee daily inbound and outbound logistics activities Coordinate shipments, deliveries, transportation schedules and carrier assignments Manage relationships with freight carriers, suppliers, warehouses and logistics partners Monitor shipment status and address delays, shortages, damages and delivery issues Coordinate warehouse activity to support accurate and timely movement of goods Review transportation costs, freight charges and delivery performance Maintain accurate shipment, inventory and logistics records Track inventory movement and work with warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies Plan transportation requirements around customer orders, inventory levels and operational schedules Review carrier performance and address recurring service issues Ensure shipping and receiving documentation is complete and accurate Work with purchasing, sales, warehouse and operations teams to coordinate logistics requirements Identify opportunities to improve delivery times, transportation efficiency and operating costs Prepare logistics reports and provide operational updates to management Maintain procedures and documentation related to transportation and distribution activities Qualifications 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, distribution or supply chain operations Previous experience coordinating carriers, freight or delivery operations Experience with warehouse and inventory processes Understanding of transportation costs, shipment documentation and delivery scheduling Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Comfortable working with Excel, inventory systems, transportation software or ERP platforms Ability to manage changing priorities and time-sensitive shipments Strong communication skills when working with carriers, suppliers and internal teams Experience supervising logistics, warehouse or transportation staff is preferred Experience with logistics reporting and performance tracking is an asset Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field is preferred Position Details Full-time position Vancouver, BC On-site work environment Monday to Friday Standard business hours Compensation is based on experience and qualifications Benefits and other employment terms based on company policy and experience Apply for the Position If you have experience managing logistics operations and enjoy coordinating people, transportation and inventory to keep deliveries on schedule, we’d like to hear from you.
