EQI Ltd.Logistics and Inventory Coordinator EQI Value Added Services Berea, KY :: Mon-Fri day shift Reports to the General Manager Job Summary The Logistics and Inventory Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the growth and success of EQI by planning, coordinating, and optimizing logistics and inventory operations. This role works closely with customers, internal teams, suppliers, and transportation providers to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective movement of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service, compliance, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Plan and coordinate logistics operations by liaising with customers, internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, and transportation companies. Manage transportation, storage, delivery, and administrative activities between suppliers and customers. Monitor quality, quantities, delivery timelines, and transportation costs. Track shipments and monitor inventory and stock movements. Update and report on deliveries, inventory levels, and dispatch requirements. Ensure accurate and timely order entry, ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) processing, and order fulfillment through the ERP system. Create and record incoming shipments and receipts accurately in the system. Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives. Resolve logistics, transportation, import/export, or customer-related issues and escalate when necessary. Maintain performance metrics and reports to evaluate logistics effectiveness. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and logistics partners. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding logistics and delivery matters. Prepare and provide logistics reports to customers, including tracking, delivery times, and costs. Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, and health and safety standards. Monitor packaging and labeling accuracy to ensure safe transportation and correct delivery. Assist with new business initiatives, projects, and participate in review meetings. Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management. Experience working with logistics software, including WMS and ERP systems. Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple processes across the supply chain. High level of analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of logistics-related safety standards, regulations, laws, and policies.
