Currently our client, a Japanese exporter of high-quality foods, confectionery, beverages, seasonings, dried fruits, frozen foods, and other items from the U.S. market to Japan is seeking a Logistics / Export Coordinator.

ations & Logistics: Oversee the full export process (pickup to doc dispatch), coordinate with carriers/freight forwarders, monitor shipments, and resolve delivery or customs delays.
• Documentation & Order Management: Issue POs/SOs, prepare export documentation (invoices, packing lists, BOLs), and maintain accurate compliance records.
• Quality Assurance & Manufacturer Coordination: Align production schedules with manufacturers, evaluate production samples (packaging and taste), provide feedback, and approve shipments.
• Financial & Stakeholder Management: Process vendor invoices for payment, track assigned AP/AR accounts until settlement, and provide proactive shipping updates to customers.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, procurement, and finance teams, engage in cross-training, and perform other tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
• Required: High school diploma, 1+ years in export operations/logistics, and a strong understanding of export regulations and documentation.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of experience, knowledge of Incoterms/trade compliance, cross-training willingness, and Japanese fluency.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in data entry, record-keeping, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and Google Workspace (Drive, Chat, Meet, Calendar).
• Strong analytical ability to interpret trade compliance rules.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
