Logistics Engineer

ProspectBlue seeks a Logistics Routing Engineer for their client in Danville, VA! ● Match available freight with available trucks and drivers. ● Build efficient routes that maximize miles and minimize deadhead while maximizing revenue and cost savings. ● Work with customers and brokers to confirm pickup and delivery details. ● Book loads through load boards and with our direct customers. ● Keep load records and paperwork accurate using our TMS software. Requirements: ● 1+ year of load planning, brokerage, or logistics experience preferred. ● Strong communication and negotiation skills. ● Comfortable with TMS software and load boards. ● Good geography knowledge of the continental US, especially in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. ● Able to report to work in the office in Reidsville, NC or Danville, VA.
