Logistics Coordinator
Saint Paul Commodities, IncAbout SPC Saint Paul Commodities (SPC) is the largest independent aggregator of waste fats and oils in the United States. We source, blend, and trade waste-derived feedstocks such as used cooking oil (UCO), tallow, and other animal fats and greases that flow into renewable diesel, sustainable aviation fuel, biodiesel, and biobased products. The Role The Logistics Coordinator keeps products flowing over the road between our supplier network, storage and blending locations, and end customers. You will work directly with SPC's traders, tank truck carriers, terminals, and customers to schedule loads, keep paperwork clean, and fix problems before they cost us a delivery window. SPC offers a unique opportunity to learn the business from the inside out, work directly with experienced professionals, and gain exposure to areas well beyond logistics. You'll see how the pieces of a commodity trading business fit together, build relationships across the company, and could take on new challenges as your interests and skills grow. This is a fast-paced desk for someone who takes ownership, likes solving problems in real time, and wants to learn the physical side of a commodity trading business. Vet and onboard carriers: confirm operating authority, insurance, and safety ratings, and maintain carrier scorecards on service, safety, and cost.
