Responsibilities Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, including shipping & receiving, inventory control, and materials handling to ensure timely order fulfillment. Manage transportation logistics using transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP systems to optimize freight costs and delivery schedules. Conduct data collection and analysis using tools like SQL, Excel, and Tableau to identify process improvements and root cause issues within supply chain operations. Oversee procurement processes, including sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and reliable service. Implement category management strategies by analyzing demand planning data, inventory levels, and pricing trends to maximize profitability. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade documentation requirements for import/export activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production planning, customer service, and vendor management to enhance overall supply chain efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience practicing in a supply chain operations role with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems (IMS). Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (including data analysis and spreadsheets), SQL, Tableau, and ERP platforms like AS400 or similar systems. Hands-on experience with warehouse operations including stocking, shipping & receiving, manual handling, and forklift operation (certification preferred). Knowledge of transportation planning, freight management (including 3PL providers), trade compliance, and international trade regulations. Strong negotiation skills coupled with vendor management experience to secure optimal terms for procurement and sourcing activities. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis for process improvement initiatives. Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across departments such as procurement, logistics management, customer service, and production planning.
