How You’ll Make an Impact: 

The Logistics Associate I supports materials, shipping, and receiving operations within our manufacturing facility. This entry-level position is designed for individuals with a strong interest in logistics and manufacturing who are eager to develop their skills in an aerospace production environment. Under the supervision and guidance of the logistics leadership team, the Logistics Associate I will receive hands-on training in inventory control, material handling, packaging, and documentation processes.


This role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with technical or trade school backgrounds who wish to begin a long-term career in aerospace manufacturing and logistics.


What you’ll be doing as a Logistics Associate:

  • Working a full-time, onsite position at our Fife, WA location.
  • Assist in the receipt, inspection, and verification of incoming materials, parts, and components.
  • Support the preparation, packaging, labeling, and documentation of outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements.
  • Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and verification in the company’s inventory management system.
  • Perform visual inspections of incoming and outgoing materials for quality and accuracy.
  • Participate in routine inventory counts and reconciliation activities.
  • Ensure materials are properly identified, stored, and staged according to established procedures.
  • Follow all safety and quality standards, including proper handling of aerospace materials.
  • Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications (Education, skills and experience):

  • Demonstrated interest in logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
  • Basic math and measurement skills with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively under supervision.
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring standing and movement throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to learning and development.
  • Adherence to workplace safety standards and company policies.

Preferred Qualifications (Education, skills and experience):

  • Previous experience or exposure to shipping, receiving, or warehouse environments (through employment, education, or training programs).
  • Completion of coursework in logistics, manufacturing technology, or a related trade program (high school, ROP, or vocational).
  • Forklift certification or previous forklift operation experience.
  • Familiarity with packaging methods, labeling standards, and shipping documentation practices.
  • Experience using barcode scanners or basic inventory management software.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement concepts.
  • Demonstrated reliability and initiative in previous academic or professional settings.
  • Interest in pursuing a long-term career in aerospace manufacturing and logistics.

The Logistics Associate Compensation range for onsite Washington applicants is $20 - $23 per hour commensurate with experience. Some shifts may include shift differential pay rates. Other site ranges may differ.
