Job Title : Logistics Analyst I Location : Whiteland, IN Job Type: W2 Contract Expected hours per week: 40 hours per week Schedule: On-site Pay Range: $25 per hour (Benefits included) Job Description The Transportation Support Analyst provides administrative and operational support for the transportation team. The role supports shipping label creation, carrier claims documentation, data management, customer communication, and general office coordination to help ensure accurate and timely execution of daily transportation processes. Key Responsibilities Create and manage shipping labels for transportation activities (Inbound Supplier Shipments, Quality Returns, Premium Freight Requests (PFRs), etc.). Submit and track transportation carrier claims and maintain required supporting documentation. Coordinate and maintain documents, reports, emails, presentations, and other business communications with guidance from the supervisor. Use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to track, document, analyze, and report information. Review and proofread documents for grammar, spelling, accuracy, consistency of terms, and completeness. Ensure document text and graphics follow corporate and organizational guidelines and standards. Acquire, review, input, format, and maintain accurate data in spreadsheets, databases, and other electronic tools. Communicate with internal and external customers by email and phone, research solutions, and direct inquiries to the appropriate resource with supervisor input when needed. Participate in process improvement activities, self-audits, team audits, and resulting corrective actions. Build a strong internal network to answer questions, solve problems, and successfully execute responsibilities. Maintain confidentiality and exercise professional discretion in all responsibilities. Perform other duties as required to support transportation operations and business objectives. Education Technical/BS preferred in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent Experience Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Minimum of two years of logistics/supply chain experience or experience in an analytical role outside of supply chain Understanding of supply chain terminology Preferred Skills Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Customer-focused mindset with practical problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
