We are currently searching for a logistic coordinator to join our team at Richmond office. Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of product shipments, overseeing logistics activities to guarantee efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods. The role requires close collaboration with the Accounting, Sales, and Shipping teams to maintain accurate records, support smooth inventory movement, and provide excellent service to customers. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team. Job Duties & Responsibilities · Prepare packing slips. · Verify accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips. · Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and handling. · Oversee the logistics of transportation, including selecting the appropriate carriers, negotiating freight rates, and optimizing routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. · Arrange domestic and international shipping through carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.). · Coordinate with production and office staff to ensure timely order fulfillment. · Address any delays, damages, or other issues that may occur during transit, working quickly to find solutions and minimize disruptions to the supply chain. · Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, providing updates on shipment status, and resolving any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. · Team Collaboration, ability to work collaboratively with sales, and customer success teams. Skills & Competencies · Resident of British Columbia. · Secondary school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset. · Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics. · Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office. · Ability to communicate clearly in English; Chinese language skills are considered an asset. · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. · Ability to lift up to 40 lbs safely. · Valid work authorization in Canada. Preferred Experience · Knowledge of packaging standards and shipping documentation. · Familiarity with courier and freight systems (FedEx, UPS, DHL, Purolator). · Experience maintaining inventory databases and work in ERP systems. · Prior experience in a manufacturing is an asset.
