Seeking Class A truck drivers with 2 years or more tractor trailer experience to haul dedicated reefer and dry van freight for our dedicated account. 5 days on / 2 consecutive days off with potential 6th day Deliver pre-loaded dry van trailers from the Distribution Center to store locations 1:00 PM–4:00 PM and 5:00 AM–10:00 AM start times. $1600-2500 weekly. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial trucks on local routes, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and specialized equipment Load and unload freight efficiently using manual handling techniques and proper cargo handling procedures Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing travel efficiency Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other safety standards during all operations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any maintenance issues promptly Deliver freight accurately to designated locations, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to delivery schedules Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery records in accordance with regulatory requirements Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat), and dangerous goods handling Experience with manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers preferred Knowledge of logistics cargo handling, truck loading/unloading procedures, and manual handling techniques Ability to operate GPS navigation systems confidently for route planning and adjustments Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazard materials regulations, and safety protocols for over-the-road (OTR) driving routes Strong commitment to safety standards and compliance with all transportation laws Join us as a Local Truck Driver where your skills drive our success!
