Syntec IndustriesLocal Box Truck Driver Syntec Industries Job Summary Syntec Industries is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Local Box Truck Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for making local deliveries to RV manufacturing plants, loading and unloading materials, maintaining delivery vehicles, and ensuring products arrive safely and on time. The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, the required driver's license, and experience navigating RV plants and manufacturing facilities. Forklift experience, particularly using a carpet pole attachment, is a plus. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck to make local deliveries to RV manufacturing plants and other customer locations. Load, secure, transport, and unload products while ensuring materials are handled properly. Navigate RV plants, manufacturing facilities, and delivery areas efficiently and safely. Complete deliveries accurately and on schedule. Operate a forklift when needed to move and load materials safely. Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance or safety concerns. Coordinate truck servicing, including taking vehicles to repair shops and scheduled maintenance appointments. Assist with basic truck upkeep and general maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate delivery records and required paperwork. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable driving regulations. Assist with additional warehouse, loading, and shipping duties as needed. Qualifications Valid driver's license appropriate for operating a box truck and any required license or authorization for the position. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test. Clean driving record. Previous box truck driving or local delivery experience preferred. Experience delivering to RV plants or manufacturing facilities strongly preferred. Ability to safely load and unload products and perform physical work as required. Dependable, punctual, and organized, with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and communicate professionally with customers and coworkers. Willingness to assist with vehicle maintenance, servicing, and other operational tasks. Preferred Qualifications Forklift operating experience. Experience using a forklift equipped with a carpet pole attachment. Familiarity with loading, handling, and transporting carpet rolls or other bulky materials.
