Local Rail Yard CDL A Driver No-Touch Intermodal

We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a local intermodal operation serving Illinois and WI. Drivers haul no touch freight to and from Chicago rail yards on a consistent Monday - Friday schedule with daily home time. This is a steady local position with strong weekly pay, company-paid HazMat reimbursement, and assigned yard equipment. Pay and earnings Average weekly pay: $1,300 - $1,400 Average annual earnings: about $75,000 100% no touch freight HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire Company reimburses HazMat endorsement if obtained after hire Driver must provide required paperwork Schedule and home time Monday through Friday Start time: 3:00 PM Home daily Operates in IL and WI Drivers go to Chicago rail yards daily Drivers leave the tractor at the yard during time off Slip seat equipment; drivers share trucks No smoking inside the truck What you’ll do Haul intermodal freight to and from Chicago rail yards Complete no-touch freight moves Follow all rail yard, DOT, and company safety procedures Complete pre trip inspections and maintain accurate logs Communicate with dispatch and report any issues promptly Maintain required paperwork and delivery documentation What we need Valid Class A CDL Minimum 3 - 6 months of trucking experience HazMat endorsement within 90 days of hire; company reimbursement provided Comfortable with a 3:00 PM start time and daily rail-yard reporting Willing to operate slip seat equipment Able to leave the tractor at the yard during time off
